About Edgeley, ND

Edgeley is a vital, community-minded town located 38 miles south of Jamestown, North Dakota at the crossroads of Hwy. 281 and Hwy. 13.

It’s happening here in Edgeley, because we care enough to make it happen! Edgeley is a very rural community with farming being a large part of our economy. Wheat, corn, soybeans, barley, oats, potatoes are common small grains grown in the area. Livestock is another important aspect for the area farmers, with cattle and feedlots dotting the countryside.

Hunting and fishing are very popular in this area. We offer great duck hunting, pheasant, whites, blues, and canadian geese hunting, grouse, partridge, dove, and deer hunting, both gun and archery. Our lakes and dams offer great fishing for walleye, northern pike, perch, crappies, and bluegills. Check out the pages on hunting and fishing for more information.

Edgeley was the host for the 2001 Midwest Plains Regional Babe Ruth 16-year old Tournament this summer, bringing teams from Colorado, Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas and two teams from North Dakota to play for a spot in the National Babe Ruth World Series.

Information on service organizations, clubs, recreation, school, businesses, churches, Manor St. Joseph (retirement home), hunting, fishing, housing, and everything else that is "happening" in Edgeley is found here.
